Innovating for the Warfighter
OTTO Engineering and Freedom Atlantic have co-developed WedgeXTM to provide warfighters with a significant tactical EDGE. This innovative solution redefines radio power and data distribution, ensuring extended run-time, adaptability, and lighter loadouts.

Flexible & Compatible
Dual multi-pin connectors to pass both regulated 5V power and Superspeed USB data to/from the radio; allowing WedgeXTM to connect directly to external battery power, daisy chain to other radios, connect to power/data hubs or directly to EUDs. Integrated radio controls allow the Wedge to send radio control signals to the attached radio, enabling remote radio controls including radio volume, channel selection etc.

Modular Radio Hub Adapter

The WedgeXTM SideLink is a modular, adaptable solution that merges the functions of a traditional radio side adapter with a versatile multi-port power and data hub. Each SideLink is specifically designed for the make and model of the supported radio and is internally e-marked for seamless identification. Compact yet powerful, it integrates three USB Type-C ports, ensuring compatibility with various devices and mission requirements—all within the footprint of a standard radio side adapter.

The Wedge Module Adapter, together with SideLink, provides customizable, intelligent power and data management. Its intelligent software allows for rapid adjustments, ensuring smooth integration with both modern and legacy systems. WedgeXTM eliminates the need for extra adapters and expensive Power Delivery smart cables by adapting effortlessly to a wide range of communication protocols.
